Attorney Scott M. Davidson’s legal experience spans two decades of federal and state trial and appellate litigation. In 1996, Mr. Davidson was selected as a judicial law clerk for the Supreme Court of New Mexico, working with Justices Pamela Minzner, Richard Ransom, and Daniel McKinnon. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Davidson litigated federal multi-district civil class-action antitrust and securities cases, appeals, federal criminal cases, and civil rights cases while an associate at Freedman Boyd Daniels Hollander Goldberg & Cline PA. From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Davidson litigated appellate and post-conviction cases and complex trial-level issues on behalf of indigent federal defendants at the Albuquerque Office of the Federal Public Defender.
He has an extensive background of appellate and post-conviction litigation experience in federal and state courts on behalf of clients from across the United States and beyond. Mr. Davidson’s domestic clients hail from many states, and a list of his international clients spans the globe, including clients from Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America.

In New Mexico, Mr. Davidson has practiced criminal law at all levels, with a focus on appellate and post-conviction proceedings. His federal criminal practice includes trial and post-conviction cases in New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, and Maine. Mr. Davidson’s federal appellate practice includes dozens of appellate cases in the Fifth, Ninth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals, as well as the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Davidson has been part of ground-breaking decisions in federal and state appellate courts. He has been counsel of record, or amicus counsel, in published appellate cases involving legal issues of the first impression in the Tenth Circuit, the New Mexico Court of Appeals, the New Mexico Supreme Court, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Davidson has argued dozens of appellate criminal and civil cases in federal and state appellate courts.

When not crunching numbers, Victoria spends quality bonding time with her baby, practicing yoga, and brewing her own beer. She makes sure to connect with the outdoors every chance she gets, while also enjoying a slow day at home with her cat, Sky.
